Stillness belongs to everyone, everywhere.

What is Meditation? Meditation is an ancient practice that has withstood the test of time into modern times.

I like to think of it as the time you set aside for yourself, your self-care practice to release stressors and blockages.  When you meditate, you are investing in yourself, taking the time to calm your mind and body.

Why Meditate? Meditation is a great way to improve your well-being, and there are so many benefits to it that you'll love. Just like learning any new skill, it takes a little bit of commitment and practice. But trust me, once you start setting aside some time for yourself and your self-care, you'll be hooked! You'll look forward to making your meditation practice your own and enjoying all the benefits it brings. So, let's get started!

How do I Meditate? It all starts with your breath. Think of yourself as a blank canvas-- with no expectations.  First, you will learn to breathe from your abdomen, which is called belly breathing. It's important to be kind to yourself and don't get frustrated if you can't do it right away or your mind wanders.  You will soon come to realize that it is about being inthat moment, recognizing your distractors, and how to release them with ease.  Once you find your breath,  you will feel a shift. Remember there is no right or wrong way to meditate. You want to be comfortable whether it is sitting, lying down or just closing your eyes for a moment. This is about you and your connection to yourself and to source.

Where to Meditate? Anywhere. At your desk, on your couch, in bed, standing while waiting for the train or bus, or walking in nature. The places are endless. Where you decide becomes your saced space.

Remember OM is where the heart is and through your breath, you are returning to your authentic self.  There is no place like OM.

Namaste.
